HORSEBACK RIDING If you are an avid horseback rider you will not find any challenge here. On the other side, if you just want to experience nature on a horse's back we can offer you 1 to 3-hour rides with or without a Cowboy Cookout. Custom Private Rides are also available.
JEEP TOURS AND RENTALS If you are in Sedona for the first time you "have to" take one of the jeep tours that take you deep into red rock country. A knowledgeable guide will answer all your questions and give you a fun ride. Go on a 2 hour Broken Arrow tour or add another hour that gets you up high on Schnebly Road to overlook Sedona and part of the Oak Creek with lots of red rocks on all sides. If you'd rather do the tour on your own and you don't have a high clearance 4-wheel drive vehicle you can rent one or you can rent an ATV, your choice. Jeep Tours are also available to ancient Indian Cliff Dwellings.

OUT OF AFRICA (Wild Animal Park)/Jerome/Cottonwood Out of Africa is located 30 minutes from us in the Verde Valley. It only takes rescue animals, none from the wild. The "Tiger Splash" is a special treat for everybody and is included in the general admission. Besides the regular admission to the park, we can book a "Behind the Scene" Tour for you which is lead by a senior staff member and lets you get closer to the animals. Guests who have taken this tour have raved about it for days.
Jerome is a small Mining town perched on the side of Mingus Mountain, 30 minutes from the inn. You can explore it on your own or we can book a Historic Tour during the daytime or a Haunted Excursion in the evening for you.
If you visit any of the mentioned places you will come through Cottonwood, which has a lovely "Old Town" worth checking out.
PSYCHIC READINGS Sedona is known for its Vortex locations, which makes it a very spiritual and metaphysical place. If you want to expand your quest for knowledge we recommend a Psychic Reading. We can arrange for a reading with a gifted psychic who will come to the inn or meet you at her place. She reads for individuals, couples or groups.

STARGAZING If you have never been to Sedona before you have no idea how many stars you can actually see here at night. If you are interested in stargazing we can book a Tour of the Evening Sky for you. You will meet your astronomer in a trailhead parking lot after dark. He will be waiting for you with chairs, blankets and an enormous telescope, and proceed to explain the night sky to you. If you want to venture farther you can drive up to Flagstaff and take a tour at the Lowell Observatory.
WATER (Pontoon, Tubing, Kayaking) Even though Arizona is not known for its water sports, we have plenty of venues that entail getting wet. If you take one of the before mentioned tours to the Grand Canyon you can incorporate a Pontoon Boat float. The Verde River is perfect for tubing and inflated kayaks. If we arrange for a tube rental the outfitter will provide a shuttle back to your car. Rental of the inflatable kayaks includes life jacket, helmet, paddle, pump, and water cannon. If you don't have any children with you we highly recommend the "Water to Wine" tour, a favorite tour of some of our guests. It is a guided tour that starts with an hour float trip in an inflatable kayak to a winery located on the Verde River and includes a wine tasting.
