A romantic weekend in Sedona

Two or three days among the red rocks, planned by people who live here.

Sedona is made for couples: quiet trails, spectacular sunsets, excellent restaurants and a slower pace. Here is the weekend we suggest to guests celebrating an anniversary, a honeymoon or simply time together.

Day one: arrive and settle in

Check in and let the villa do the work: a fireplace, a two-person jetted tub and fresh bread baked in your villa. Ask us to have our Romance Package waiting, with fresh roses, alcohol-removed sparkling wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, a balloon and a candle. Watch the sunset from Airport Mesa, then have dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

Day two: sunrise, spa and sunset

  • Start early with a sunrise hot air balloon flight over Red Rock Country, or sleep in and enjoy a chef-prepared breakfast.
  • Book a couples massage at our spa, just steps from your villa. You each choose your treatment and enjoy it side by side.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross, built into the red rocks in 1956.
  • End the day by walking from your villa to the top of Little Sugarloaf for sunset, a quiet summit with almost no one else around, or stay in with a cheese plate on your patio.

Day three: a slow morning

After breakfast, take the scenic drive up Oak Creek Canyon or spend an hour at the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park before heading home.

Little touches

We can arrange roses, chocolate-covered strawberries or a cheese plate before you arrive, book dinner reservations and plan tours. Just ask.
